Honoring Craig Cemate
The Allston Brighton Youth Hockey Community extends its condolences to the family and friends of Craig Cemate who recently passed.
Growing up, Craig played Brighton Youth Hockey before playing for Don Bosco Tech and collegiately at American International College. Following his career as a student athlete, he coached in Allston Brighton Youth Hockey for many years before relocating to the Atlanta, Georgia area. He stayed involved with hockey, coaching with the Atlanta Fire Youth Hockey organization and working for the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League as a security representative.
From the streets of Brighton, MA to the Home Depot in Buford, GA, the common thread in the arc of his life was that everyone loved Craig and enjoyed his personality. He helped others before helping himself and expected nothing in return. Craig is survived by his daughter, Shannon, and her husband Joe, their two children, Emma and Tripp; his son, Kyle, and his wife, Brittany, along with their son, Hayes; and Shannon and Kyle’s mother, Michele.
Craig's family has generously requested that donations be made in Craig's name to Allston Brighton Youth Hockey in lieu of flowers. Click here to donate through our website: https://www.allstonbrightonhockey.com/donate or you may mail a check to:
